The SEN Interventionist—Social Worker Department
Empowering Families, Building Stronger Futures Together!
The SEN Interventionist—Social Worker Department is dedicated to supporting the emotional, social, and practical needs of individuals with special educational needs (SEN) and their families. Through compassionate case management, advocacy, and resource coordination, social workers help remove barriers to learning, wellbeing, and community participation. Each intervention plan is tailored to the unique circumstances of the learner, offering support in areas such as family services, mental health, crisis intervention, and access to specialized programs. The department works closely with educators, healthcare providers, and community organizations to build strong support networks around each learner. By empowering families and advocating for inclusive opportunities, the SEN Interventionist—Social Worker Department ensures that every student has the foundation they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom. Aligned with CESC’s mission, the department champions dignity, resilience, and full participation for individuals of all abilities.
