SITE AUDIT

Create truly accessible spaces with CESC

Across the Caribbean, too many schools, offices, and public buildings remain out of reach, literally, for individuals living with disabilities. At CESC, we’re committed to building an inclusive region where no one is left behind. Our Site Audit & Compliance Certification Service helps you evaluate whether your facilities genuinely accommodate persons of varying abilities and offers you the tools to correct gaps with confidence.

Whether you're a school, nonprofit, government office, medical provider, or business, we’ll help you meet accessibility standards and proudly demonstrate your commitment to inclusion.

WHAT WE OFFER

CESC’s Accessibility Site Audits are designed to identify and resolve barriers, whether architectural, environmental, communicative, or technological, that prevent full access and participation. We provide recommendations aligned with regional best practices and international accessibility standards.

We evaluate:

◘ Entrances and exits

◘ Hallways and ramps

◘ Restrooms and changerooms

◘ Signage and alerts

◘ Furniture and pathways

◘ Digital and communication systems

◘ Ambiance - Lighting, acoustics, wall paint & texture

Our Accessibility Compliance Certification is more than a badge, it’s a signal to your clients, students, and community that your organization respects and supports the rights of persons with disabilities.

Organizations that successfully complete the audit and meet key criteria receive a CESC Certificate of Accessibility Compliance, valid for two years.

Certification Process

Step 1

Request & Agreement

Submit a Request for Site Visit & Audit using our simple intake form. We’ll meet with you to understand the facility type, purpose, and your accessibility goals. Once confirmed, a formal agreement will outline the scope, costs, and timeline.

Step 2

On-Site Audit & Evaluation

Our audit team will visit your site to assess key physical and operational accessibility points. We may also engage staff, students, or clients to better understand lived experiences. Within 14 business days, you’ll receive a detailed report outlining gaps, priority actions, and improvement recommendations.

Step 3

Certification or Follow-Up

If your site meets our required threshold, you’ll receive a CESC Accessibility Certificate along with the right to display our inclusion seal on signage and websites. If adjustments are needed, we’ll offer follow-up audits or coaching to help you get there.
