Department Chair
Dr. Bethany Anderson-Dodd, AuD, MPH
Dr. Bethany Anderson-Dodd, AuD, MPH is an accomplished audiologist and public health professional, bringing a holistic approach to patient care and intervention at CESC. She earned her Doctorate in Audiology from Towson University, her Master’s in Public Health from Loma Linda University, and her Bachelor of Science from Andrews University.
Currently practicing at Hearing Associates, Inc., Dr. Anderson-Dodd integrates her clinical expertise with her public health background to ensure comprehensive, community-centered care. She is passionate about bridging gaps in communication health and empowering individuals and families through evidence-based interventions.
Originally from the Washington, DC area and now based in Baltimore City, Dr. Anderson-Dodd draws strength and inspiration from her Jamaican heritage. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys hiking, gardening, community outreach, fitness, and sharing time with her husband. Her warm, approachable nature and commitment to excellence make her an ideal leader for the SEN Interventionist - Communication Sciences Department, where she will guide initiatives that combine speech-language pathology with broader public health strategies to serve diverse communities.
