The SEN Interventionist—Counseling Psychology Department
Supporting Growth, Healing, Strength, and Resilience!
The SEN Interventionist—Counseling Psychology Department is devoted to supporting the emotional, social, and psychological wellbeing of individuals with special educational needs (SEN). Through compassionate, evidence-based counseling services, the department helps learners navigate challenges such as anxiety, emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationships, and transitions. Each counseling plan is tailored to the individual’s unique experiences and developmental needs, promoting resilience, personal growth, and mental wellness. The department works collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure that emotional support is integrated into every aspect of the learner’s journey. Whether addressing personal struggles or building coping skills for everyday life, the Counseling Psychology Department creates a safe and nurturing environment where every voice is heard and valued. Aligned with CESC’s holistic approach to education and empowerment, the department plays a crucial role in helping individuals thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
