A comprehensive online training that delivers in- depth understanding of the key elements of Life Coaching and transitioning into the Workplace. The course is intended to provide  persons with disabilities (PWDs) with mentors who will help to improve the following (1) the  home environment, (2) the social well-being, (3) hobbies and activities, (4) networking and exploring suitable places of employment, (5) making the best use of the organizations and (6) resume writing and work ethics.

 

Please note:

 

  • The course comprises of lectures, home assignments, mid and end-semester assessments.
  • Students will earn 2 credits for SPED 105 spend 6 hours each week on this course, in a mixture of faculty led teaching-learning (2 hours) and student-directed learning (4 hours) on practical/ work.
  • A mid-semester assessment will be held on the fourth class session, and will allow each student to score 40% of their final grade.  
  • The final examination will score the other 60% needed to successfully pass this course.
