Ms. Shelley-Ann Edwards-Barran is a Creative Writing Specialist with a passion for improving writing instruction and empowering writers to express themselves effectively. With a background in special needs education, focusing on ADHD and multisensory learning, Shelley-Ann brings a unique perspective to her teaching methods.
As the CEO of WERD Coach Limited, Shelley-Ann designs and delivers writing workshops and seminars, coaches writers across various domains, and edits manuscripts in professional, academic, and creative fields. Her dedication to nurturing writing talents is evident in her commitment to changing the world one writer at a time.
Having served as the Director of The Language Centre at the University of the Southern Caribbean and the Director of Impressions of Paradise Media Limited, Shelley-Ann has honed her skills in teaching ESL, managing departments, and producing media content. Her versatile background in communication, graphic design, photography, and editing equips her with a well-rounded skill set to inspire and guide aspiring writers.
Shelley-Ann's academic achievements, including a Master of Science in Management from Colorado Technical University Online and various certifications in communication and professional development, reflect her commitment to personal and professional growth.
