Ms. Margaret Howell, MSW, is a dedicated social worker and educator with a passion for community well-being and mental health. With a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut, Margaret has a rich educational background that includes specializations in community organization, group work, and casework.


Margaret's professional journey has been marked by a diverse range of roles and experiences. As an Assistant Professor of Social Work at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI, she served as the Associate Graduate Faculty, Dual Degrees Program Director, and School Social Work Program Coordinator. Her responsibilities included teaching and advising students, coordinating programs, and engaging in research initiatives.


In her private practice in South Lancaster, MA, Margaret worked as a Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist, providing counseling services to college students and staff. She also served as a lecturer and clinical supervisor for graduate students in social work programs, emphasizing the importance of multicultural awareness and wellness.


Throughout her career, Margaret has demonstrated a commitment to advocacy and community engagement. From her role as a Parent Liaison Worker in the Hartford Board of Education to her work with families, hospitals, and communities in the City of Hartford Health Department, Margaret has consistently strived to empower individuals and promote social inclusion.


Margaret's extensive experience in clinical practice, counseling, and social work education equips her with a deep understanding of the complexities of human behavior and social welfare. Her involvement in various committees, faculty roles, and community initiatives underscores her dedication to fostering positive change and promoting mental health awareness.


She will be teaching SEN Treatment—The Team Approach—Social Worker.
