Mrs. Ganelle Ramkissoon

Mrs. Ganelle Ramkissoon is a seasoned educator with 25 years of experience, including over 22 years as a Special Needs Educator at the primary level. She currently serves as a Senior Special Education Instructor within the Student Support Services Division of the Ministry of Education, Trinidad and Tobago, where she develops intervention strategies, assesses learning environments, and provides training for teachers and administrators supporting diverse learners.


She holds a Bachelor of Education (Magna Cum Laude) in General Primary Education and a Master of Education in Educational Technology, both from the University of Trinidad and Tobago. Her professional certifications include advanced training in standard assessment tools, inclusive school practices, digital literacy, and computational thinking for educators.

Mrs. Ramkissoon has served as an adjunct lecturer in the Bachelor of Education in Special Education programme and as a Subject Matter Expert in Educational Technology at the University of the Southern Caribbean. She is dedicated to fostering inclusive learning environments and leverages technology to enhance teaching for students with diverse learning needs.


In addition to her public service, she contributes to curriculum and special needs instruction at Grace Academy of Excellence Private Schools and volunteers with regional initiatives supporting children with autism spectrum disorder and their families. A wife and mother, including to a child with special needs, Mrs. Ramkissoon is deeply committed to empowering every learner to reach their potential.
