Mr. Lincoln Dyer,

Mr. Lincoln Dyer is a veteran educator and passionate advocate for inclusive education, bringing over four decades of experience to his role as lecturer in SEN Teaching Methods—Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic. With a career marked by service, leadership, and academic excellence, Mr. Dyer has dedicated his life to empowering both students and teachers.


He holds a Teachers’ Diploma, a B.A. in Spanish Language and Linguistics, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, a Postgraduate Diploma in TESOL, and a Master of Education in Special and Inclusive Education. His teaching journey began at San Fernando SDA Primary and San Fernando East Junior Secondary School, eventually leading to his role as principal of San Fernando SDA Primary from 1989 to 1996.


Mr. Dyer later served as a School Supervisor from 1996 to 2005, providing educational oversight and mentorship across schools. He then spent 18 years as a lecturer and Assistant Professor at the University of the Southern Caribbean (USC), where he influenced countless future educators, particularly in the field of Special Education.


In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Dyer has served faithfully as an elder at the San Fernando SDA Church for over 34 years. He is also the devoted husband of Mrs. Elva Dyer, a respected former principal and adjunct lecturer in Mathematics Methods at USC.


Mr. Dyer’s deep commitment to education, especially in supporting learners with special needs, continues to inspire his students and colleagues alike.
