Dr. Gillian S. Joseph, EdD

Dr. Gillian S. Joseph is a highly experienced educator, administrator, and instructional coach with a strong background in classroom management, special education, and school leadership. She holds a Doctor of Education in Special Education from Walden University, a Master of Science in Education from Hofstra University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Andrews University.
With over 25 years of experience in education, Dr. Joseph has held roles as a Principal, Assistant Superintendent, Assistant Principal, Guidance Counselor, and Special Education Teacher. She has successfully developed and implemented curriculum strategies, coached teachers in instructional best practices, and led professional development programs for educators. Her expertise in classroom management has helped schools create structured, student-centered environments that promote positive behavior, engagement, and academic success.
Currently an Adjunct Professor at Andrews University, Dr. Joseph teaches courses in special education and instructional leadership. She has also worked extensively with early childhood and K-12 educators, providing guidance on behavior management strategies, differentiated instruction, and student support services.
Dr. Joseph has served as a mentor to educators, helping them establish effective classroom routines, conflict resolution strategies, and student engagement techniques. As a school administrator, she has developed school-wide behavior management programs and led initiatives to improve teacher-student interactions, discipline policies, and instructional methods.
