Graduate Recital: Jamison Moore, CelloWestern Michigan University – Irving S. Gilmore School of MusicDalton Center Lecture HallThursday, April 10, 2025 | 5:00 p.m. ET
Meet a Master of Music candidate whose cello speaks volumes. Jamison Moore’s Graduate Recital is more than a performance—it’s a testament to resilience, love, and unshakable belief.
Years of practice, perseverance, and mentorship have brought him to this moment: the culmination of his Master’s degree in cello performance under the guidance of Professor Bruce Uchimura.
This recital marks the 400th concert of the 2024–25 season and features works by Bach, Elgar, and original compositions by Jamison himself—including The Fox Strolls at Midnight and Stand Up Guy!.
Accompanied by Ben Cooper on piano, and assisted by Donovan Meeusen (bass) and Kaden Anderson (percussion), Jamison will perform a program that reflects his journey—complex, soulful, and triumphant.
