Caribbean Disability Conference

The Caribbean Disability Network (CDN), in partnership with the Government of Barbados and the Caribbean Development Bank, invites delegates, educators, policymakers, and advocates to the second annual Caribbean Disability Conference. This year’s theme, “Breaking Barriers: Advancing Inclusive Education for All Abilities”, focuses on strengthening equitable education systems across the region.

The week-long conference features keynote addresses, panel discussions, and workshops on inclusive education policy, assistive technology, teacher training, early childhood inclusion, and youth leadership. It will culminate in the adoption of a Caribbean Declaration on Inclusive Education and a Regional Action Plan, reinforcing the region’s collective commitment to ensuring that no learner is left behind.

More than a forum for dialogue, the conference serves as a catalyst for coordinated regional action, showcasing innovation, amplifying lived experiences, and promoting collaboration across governments, institutions, and communities.
