Givan Hinds is an educator, artist, writer, and public health professional with over a decade of combined experience in secondary education and global community development. Holding a Master of Arts in Teaching with a specialization in K-12 French and TESOL, and a Master of Public Health in Global Health, she brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to her work.
As Director of Health and Education at the Caribbean Educational and Social Corporation (CESC), Givan demonstrated visionary leadership by founding La Petite École, an initiative that merges education and health promotion in underserved communities. Her career highlights include her current role as a French teacher at KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate, where she develops engaging curricula for high school students, and her impactful service as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Burkina Faso, where she facilitated health education programs on maternal and child health.
Givan's professional journey is marked by her passion for empowering communities through education, her dedication to fostering cross-cultural understanding, and her commitment to promoting global health. She is fluent in English and professionally proficient in French.
